Becoming a member of the Hawke’s Bay Car Club, you become part of our motorsport family. Club members can compete our events and also at events run by other Motorsport NZ member clubs and collect points towards our club championships.
We are the only general motorsport club in Hawke’s Bay that undertakes and organises a range of events ranging from club Motorkhana’s through to Rally sprints, Autocross, Tarmac hill climbs and the fantastic Rally Hawke’s Bay. Since the Club’s first meeting in May 1947, the club has been a family orientated entity that encourage families and individuals to indulge in the motorsport environment from the entry level through to the pinnacle of motorsport overseas.
You don’t need an expensive car! With a race of event categories and classes, you can have a blast in anything, The variety of cars that turn up to some events is huge.
Don’t have a car? No worries! Get the best seat in the house as one of our volunteer officials. Whether it’s helping with admin in the caravan, helping on the start line or marshalling up the hill, you’re sure to have a great day out.
