Hi there everyone
Things are progressing well with the Rally. Our Supplementary Regulations are published and the Motorsport Permit has been approved, we also have had approval from the Tararua District Council to use the roads in their area. We are very pleased about this, as these are the roads that were declined last year. This is still subject to weather related issues, so here’s hoping the current bad weather doesn’t continue for too long. Our CHB road closure application is due to go before the council this month, so fingers crossed all goes well with that.
The rally will be Round Two of the Central Region Rally Series (CRRS) and the Xtreme Rally Challenge. This event will be the last opportunity to register for the CRRS, so if you haven’t already registered now’s the time.
This is a value for money event, there will be 140.32kms of special stages and 273.58kms of touring total of 413.90km all completed in the one day format, the normal entry fee is $475.00, and the maximum number of starters will be 50 cars, so get you entries in early.
